What a Difference 3M Night Vision 15 Window Film Makes!

Carolina Solar Control recently helped The Salvation Army Center of Hope in Raleigh, North Carolina with heat and glare issues using 3M Night Vision 15 Window Film. As you can see in the photo above, the glass-covered building faces the sun, which caused glare issues and inside temperatures to soar during the day. UV Damage to Skin and Eyes Can Occur Indoors?

According to experts at the International Window Film Association (IWFA), the answer is yes, if your windows aren’t properly tinted. Non-tinted windows allow dangerous ultraviolet (UV) rays to pass through to occupants in cars and buildings. “If you’re sitting next to a window with sunlight streaming in, you’re at risk for UV damage to your skin and eyes,” said Darrell Smith, executive director of the IWFA. “Window film brings automatic and continuous protection indoors without the need to take action in the form of sunblock,” added Smith.
