On a recent installation, North Carolina window tinting company, Carolina Solar Control, had the opportunity to help modernize the windows of an older home in Chapel Hill, circa 1907, to today’s standards.  3M Ultra Prestige S70 was installed throughout to increase the solar performance and to add a layer of security where forced entry was a concern, or the inspector required safety glass.  The optical clarity of the film did not change the appearance,  so the historical charm of the home could remain in tact.  Not only was this an energy-saving solution for the homeowner, but it increased the security while maintaining the home’s aesthetic beauty.
