Carolina Solar, your authorized 3M Window Film Dealer and Installer of the Carolina’s, had the opportunity to work with First Bank of Southern Pines.  For this installation, we used two types of films– 3M’s NV35 (Night Vision Series) for the dormers and 3M Milano Film on all the interior office doors.   Night Vision window films help block the sun’s damaging UV rays, reduce glare and reject up to 71% of the sun’s heat. These darker shaded films are designed to reject solar heat that is produced from visible light, while providing significant glare relief. Night Vision films allow 15% to 35% of the natural light into your rooms by day, and thanks to a low interior reflectivity, you can still enjoy the view out by night. Plus, higher exterior reflectivity means you can enjoy enhanced privacy with your windows both day and night.

The Interior of the building features our 3M Milano Film, which is part of the 3M Fasara decorative Series.  The advantages of etched, cut, sandblasted, textured and other decorative glass designs are clear: Privacy can be customized, while light still pours from room to room, creating an open feel even in confined spaces.
